The hockey community mourns the passing of Darin “Woody” Wood. Darin was a player and coach for SSAC. A large benefit game raised over $50,000 on January 6, 2007 when Darin was recovering from a tragic car crash that rendered him a quadriplegic. Darin joined the coaching staffs of U15 AAA SSAC Southgate Lions and U18 AAA BP Athletics. He would often be seen watching from the perch at Bill Hunter home games.

Immediately following the funeral will be fellowship and refreshments in the adjacent hall. Burial at Immaculate Conception Ukrainian Catholic Church in Calmar.
