SSAC pays tribute to alumnus Nakehko Lamothe and extends condolences to the family for Nakehko’s sudden passing at age 23 on January 25, 2019. Nakehko played for the MacEwan Griffins ACAC from 2016-19. He previously played Drayton Valley AJHL, OCN Storm KJHL, OCN Blizzard MJHL and La Ronge Ice Wolves SJHL. Nakehko’s club hockey spanned 5 years, playing 4 seasons SSAC and 1 KC.
