Coaching isn’t just about wins and losses; it’s about nurturing character and lifelong skills. A positive and enjoyable experience enhances player development and team dynamics. Regardless of skill level, age, gender, ethnicity, genetics, or socio-economic status, I like to emphasize the importance of having fun.

However, effort contributes to increasing the enjoyment factor. The adage “You get out of it what you put into it” applies. Focusing on technical skills and understanding the game is essential and an invested effort will lead to a more positive experience.
